"MAKE HAY WHILE THE SUN SHINES"

DAUGHTER : Papa, what does the proverb "Make hay while the sun shine" mean.
FATHER : It means, that we sould grasp the opportunities immediately, when they come in our way, else they shall be lost foreever leaving us repenting on our mistake.
DAUGHTER : Can you give one example, dad.
FATHER : Take the example of the farmer, who is supposed to make hay in the bright sunshine, else it could be ruined by the mist or the rain.
The same way, opportunity once lost could never be grasped again hence we should make hay while the sunshines.
DAUGHTER : Now I realise how important it is to grasp opportunities. I shall too immediately grap it when it comes. Thanks for directing my path on the right direction dad.
