"EVERY CLOUD HAS A SILVER LINING"

NEETU : I saw a very enlightening documentary film on a successful businessman yesterday?
RITA : What was it all about?
NEETU : It was based on the proverb "Every cloud has a silver lining". In fact, the well-known industrialist was telling us the story of his success. He had to face a lot of tribulations (difficulties) in his life. He was a very poor mechanic, who used to repair the cars of the people.
RITA : How can such a poor person become a famous rich man? Did he use illegal means to reach his goal?
NEETU : No, he was a very honest person and he believed that a person can change his destiny, with a firm faith in God and belief that "Every cloud has a silver lining".
RITA : What does this proverb means?
NEETU : It means that there is a ray of light of happy days waiting to arrive soon after the gloomy darkness of hard times.
RITA : How is this proverb applicable on the businessman?
NEETU : Well, as I told you that the businessman was a very poor mechanic, who possessed a small hut in the town and lived with his wife and children. His poverty was ridiculed by the people from all walks of life. At every step was he defamed and humiliated even for none of his faults, but he was sure that his days would change one day. He believed that the sun of good days is shining behind the cloud of difficult times. And his firm faith on this soon changed his destiny.
RITA : How did the fortune smile on him?
NEETU : You know already that the man was very honest with his dealings with people. One day a wealthy person left a bag of 10 lakhs of rupees in his car. The mechanic was busy repairing it, when he saw the bag inside the car, he at once returned the bag with full amount of money to the businessman. The businessman was astonished at his honesty. He took out Rs. 10000/- and gave him as a reward. The mechanic refused repeatedly but was at last compelled to take it when the businessman told him that it was a token of love from a brother.
RITA : But how did the mechanic reach at the peak of the height of success?
NEETU : The mechanic established a small canteen with his money. He prepared healthy food and won over others with his polite behaviour. Slowly and gradually, after 2 years, he was financially sound enough to buy a small hotel. His honest dealings and cheerful nature made him popular among people. He was soon able to establish 2 Star Hotel and when his business expanded, he opened up a 5 star hotel and now was he a owner of "6 Five Star Hotels" in the country. It is because of his belief in the proverb "Every cloud has a silver line" that luck finally smiled on him and therefore he has become a popular industrialist in the country today.
RITA : His example inspire us to face the vicissitudes (difficulties, obstacles) of life with a hope that "Every cloud has a silver lining" and we shall emerge as a winner one day.
