( Memorise this sheet and speak aloud)

"TO BLOW ONE'S OWN TRUMPET"

RITA : You know, everyone was making fun of Gita today. She went on blowing her own trumpet all day.
NEETU : What do you mean by blowing her own trumpet?
RITA : It means to boast and acclaim your yourself all the time. Gita was boasting about her qualities and talents, considering she will gain respect from all of us, but in fact she became a butt of jokes.
NEETU : But we do have to tell about our academic qualifications and talents in various interviews for the jobs. Does that mean we are going on blowing our own trumpet?
RITA : No, that's not blowing our own trumpet. We have to tell about ourselves where we are expected to. Moreover we are supposed to explain about our performances in various fields in order to get jobs and scholarships. But when we start appreciating ourselves and boasting in order to get the attention of others, is called blowing one's own trumpet.
NEETU : You know, I saw 3 cute children yesterday blowing their own trumpet all the time. First one said, that he possessed a huge aeroplane, and has kept 15 hostesses in it. That aeroplane could go beyond the space too.
The second one said, that he was the owner of this whole universe and could fly anywhere in it. The third one said,  he was the king of all the planets in the universe.
I was damn surprised at their sweet talk.
RITA : Small children are too simple to understand the complexities of life.
NEETU : In fact, they were innocently blowing their own trumpet, not knowing what they are talking about.
RITA : Children are forgiven. But what about us adults, who are ridiculed by people while we keep on blowing our own trumpet, unaware of their jokes on us.
NEETU : In fact many of us are habitual of it and can't just stop this habit.
RITA : And thus we  become clowns for the people to laugh at.
