Change Color Depth
  1. Move the mouse over a blank area on your desktop and then press the right button. A menu appears.

  2. Move the mouse over Properties and then press the left button.
    • The Display Properties dialog box appears.

       
  3. Move the mouse over the Setting tab and then press the left button.

  4. To select a new color depth, move the mouse over this area and then press the left button.

     
  5. Move the mouse over the color depth you want to use and then press the left button.

     
  6. Move the mouse over OK and then press the left button. 
    • A dialog box appears, starting that some programs may not operate property if you do not restart your computer.

  7. To restart your computer with the new color settings, move the mouse over this option and then press the left button.

  8. To restart your computer, move the mouse over OK and then press the left button. 
    • A  dialog box appears, starting that you must restart your computer before the new setting will take effect.

  9. To restart your computer, move the mouse over Yes and then press the left button.
