Basics of Window 98 Move and Copy Files Move Files  Position the mouse over the file you want to move. To move more than one file, select all the files you want to move. Then position the mouse over one of the files. Press and hold down the left button as you drag the file to a new location on you computer. The file moves to the new location. Copy Files Position the mouse over the file you want to copy. Press and hold down the Ctrl key. Still holding down the Ctrl key, press and hold down the left button as you drag the file to a new location.
