Start a Program
You can use the Start button to start your programs.
  1. To display the Start menu , move the mouse over Start and then press the left button.
    1. Shortcut : To display the Start menu using the keyboard, press and hold down the Ctrl key and then pres the Esc key.
    2. The Start menu appears.
  2. To display the programs available on your computer, move the mouse over Programs and then press the left button.
  3. To view additional programs (example: Accessories ), move the mouse over a menu item displaying an arrow and then press the left button.
  4. Move the mouse over the Program you want to start (example : WordPad) and then press the left button.
  5. In this example, the WordPad window appears.
  6. The taskbar displays a button for the open window.
