| You can sort the items displayed in a window. This can help you find files and folders more easily. |
- When you first start using Windows, items are sorted alphabetically by name.

- Move the mouse over the heading for the column you want to use to sort the items and then press the left button.
- To sort the items in reverse order, move the moue over the heading again and then press the left button.

- Sort by Size : The items are sorted by size from smallest to largest.
- Sort by Type : The items are sorted alphabetically by type.
- Sort by Date : The items are sorted by the date they were last saved.
